Lightweight rugged handheld optimized for ticketing

Starting in 1988 with the very first handheld including an integrated printer Schweers, headquartered in Germany and part of the Dutch Waysis Group, has been developing and manufacturing mobile computers and market-specific software for parking enforcement solutions. At present, over 10,000 Schweers mobile computers are in use in more than 750 cities and police departments worldwide, supported by distribution in 15 countries, including the UK and US.

Designed for on street parking enforcement, the Ticketman is the latest generation of rugged handheld computer. The handheld was specifically created to easily handle a variety of innovative enforcement applications, such as statistics, market stall and harbor fees, maintenance of pay and display equipment, police applications and so on. It does that via integration with the company's Politess Traffic Enforcement software. Based on state-of-the-art mobile technology, the Ticketman includes all the most essential features of its big brother, the X600, such as color touch screen, backlit alphanumeric keypad, infrared and an integrated thermal printer. At less than a pound, the Ticketman is the smallest and lightest handheld computer available with an integrated printer making it the ideal companion for any on street officer. The color VGA camera with flashlight and torch ensures that photos can easily be taken and affixed to citations automatically. License plate recognition can dramatically increase the advantage of such a feature. With Bluetooth as standard, a second channel can be included as an option ensuring seamless connections with multiple external devices. The optional WiFi is ideal for localised enforcement and also for many industrial applications.

The Ticketman is is sealed to IP64 specifications and can survive 4-foot drops to concrete. Primarily designed for parking enforcement or something else, the handy Ticketman can be adapted to just about any outdoor data entry application.
