Fujitsu Stylistic ST5000 Series
End result of over a decade's worth of slate experience (by Conrad H. Blickenstorfer)
Of all the current Tablet PC vendors, none has more experience than the Fujitsu PC Corporation which has been designing and selling pen slates for well over a decade. This experience is plainly obvious in the design, high quality, and overall execution of the Stylistic ST5000 Series of Tablet PCs, the successor to the ST4000. It comes in two versions, the ST5021 with a reflective 10.4-inch display, and the ST5022 with an indoor 12.1-inch wide-angle Hydis display (or even a coated outdoor version). Both have economical 1.1GHz ultra-low-voltage 733 processors and both are available with Atheros 802.11a chipsets instead of the Centrino configuration. Fujitsu offers several optional stands and docks and other accessories needed for business or vertical market applications. This is a reliable slate computer from a blue-chip vendor that gets the job done.
